Hey :) This is going to be my blog site for all to read while I am away. It is just going to be about Semester at Sea. I know I am not leaving for 4months, but it is starting to get very hectic! I have been planning this for like 8months! Things were a little crazy with applying for grants and stuff, but now its insane! I am soooooo excited! I got an estimated budget today in the mail. The total is $23,928! lol. That does include airefare,visas,passport, books,etc. That does not include my spending money. Plus, I need to buy a nice video camera and who knows what else. I have a total of $6,000 in grants. NOW I NEED A LOAN! I am the process of comparing some private loans. The freakin APR rates suck. uughh. I am going to be in big debt! Thank god my mom has paid for my education thus far and I am not already in over my head. I am very thankful for that! Worrying about paying off this one loan is bad enough! Did I mention I need to get lots of shots? I talked to my mom today and she told me some shots take a couple months to become effective. COOL. That means I need to figure out what vaccanations I need like ASAP. Also, I need to book a hotel in the Bahamas, and I need to make arrangements to get to the Bahamas? Anyone wanna come? They have spots reserved for us at the Atlantis (more money!) several days ahead of time incase we want to vacation there before we leave. Anyone wanna come? I also need to buy my ticket home from San Diego when I am done. This takes wayyyy more planning than I ever expected. Lots and lots of paperwork. Ok, thats all for now! Now, I am going to go stress over money :)
