OMG I AM SO EXCITED!!! My night started on facebook. I decided to search for a group dealing with semester at sea. WELLLLL, I FOUND ONE! There is a group that has like 180 students in it attending the Spring '07 voyage! There is also a group on MSN with alumni in it. IT IS GREAT. Any question I could every imagine has been answered on MSN. They also provided screen names and email addresses incase we have additional questions. And nobody really knows anyone so we all gave our screen names and added each other on facebook. It is fabulous! Also, people are discussing bahamas and indy trips. I will be going to the bahamas for like 5days before I go on my trip with my dad, sis, and jer!! WAHOOO. We are staying in the Atlantis, which is fabbbbulous!!! Indy trips are Independent trips. SAS has trips you can go on, but you can also travel alone...well with a group of your friends. People have already been booking cage dives and sky dives in africa and hawaii. Caging is like scuba diving but in a cage so you can be with the sharks! Some of the Alums have done this and leave notes and such on the board giving us advice.
I also found blogs of past trips and some blogs of people sailing as we speak! They posted them on the MSN boards for us to read. I stole some cool stuff and pics from some of them since I am too stupid to do any of this. You should see how amazing some of their sites are. This site is as good as it gets for me!! HAHA sooooo here are a few things for you to enjoy... :) IIIII CANNNNTTT WAIIIITTT!
(P.S. I realized that I am not the only one who started a blog for the Spring '07 Voyage already...In fact--I am a late starter!)
a map of the world--and the 13 ports we will be visiting!
Archbishop Desmond Tutu!! He won the 1985 Nobel Peace Prize for his effort in ending the aparheid non-violently for South Africa. HE WILL BE TRAVELLING WITH US FOR THE ENTIRE VOYAGE!!
a party on the deck of the ship!!!
Our rooms!! Plus they have their own (tiny) bathrooms like a cruise ship would
