Hello from the Bahamas!!! It is in the low 80's and sunny here. I hope everyone back home is enjoying the snow and freezing weather :) We are staying at the Atlantis and it is fabulous!! It all started on Tuesday when we headed up by the airport to sleep over. We had to wake up at 4am, but I didn't get ANY sleep! I couldn't fall asleep! I didn't sleep on the planes either. We had a layover in Atlanta and got to the Bahamas around noon. All we did on Wednesday was walk around our resort. This place is sooo amazing! The guests have free access to the beaches, water slides, pools, hot tubs, aquariums, etc etc!!! There is so much to do here. We even have a casino in our hotel. Yesterday, we hit up the beaches, pools and slides all day. In the evening, we went out to eat and to the casino! I only lost $10 before I stopped. At 9:00 I met up with some fellow SASers in the lobby. There ended up being around 50 of us!! It was nuts! We all jumped in hummer limos and taxis and headed to Senor Frogs. It was lots of fun...and I can drink here! I am legal from now on. I will be 21 in April but it doesn't matter anyway, because everywhere I am traveling has an 18 or younger drinking age! Today, we went on the booze cruise. I WENT SNORKELING...WITH FISH! I'm scared of fish. I hate them. They are so nasty. But, I DID IT! When I first got into the water I was SO scared. Floating in middle of the ocean is scary! When I looked in the water and saw fish all around me I almost hyperventilated! I thought I was going to cry. I wanted to get back on the boat so bad, but I sucked it up! I decided not to look until I calmed down. I ended up swimming all around the boat for 45mins. It was amazing seeing all the colorful.fish and coral. I did freak out when they got too close, but this trip is a once in a lifetime experience and I intend on making the best of it! I am going to try new foods (can you believe that, mom?) and try new things! Like getting really close to fish. ugh. Now, it is about 1130pm and everyone is passed out. I am sitting in the lobby listening to live music. I love it here. I just thought I would give everyone a little update and post some pics. I could just sit here and listen to this music all night...
